DATE: Saturday, November 16, 2013

TIME: Registration/Check-In opens at 10:00 a.m., Climb starts at 11:00 a.m.

LOCATION: Oceanaire Resort Hotel (3421 Atlantic Avenue, Virginia Beach, VA 23451); Click here for driving directions

REGISTRATION: Online registration will close Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 5:00 p.m.; Walk-on registration is available the morning of the event.

COSTUME CONTEST: Prizes will be given for the most original costume in the following categories:

• Individual Costume
• Partner Costume (2 individuals)
• Group Costume (3 or more )

Costume Contest Rules:

• You must be a registered participant and climb to be eligible
• You must climb in your costume to be eligible
• Partners and Groups must be together during judging
• Bib numbers must be visible to be eligible

PARKING: 

• Street Parking
• 31st Street City Garage=$2/hr with a maximum daily rate of $10 after 3 hrs 
• 34th Street Gold Key Resort Self-Parking=$8
• Oceanaire Resort Hotel Valet=$16

START TIME: Start times will be assigned and posted on the event website on Friday, November 15, 2013.  Bibs and timing chips will be distributed starting at 10:00 a.m. on climb day.

PARTICIPATION AND REGISTRATION TYPES:

MEDICAL: Medics will be on site for the duration of the event.

BIB NUMBER & TIMING CHIP: Timing Chips will ONLY be distributed to competitive participants at registration starting at 10:00 a.m.  

EARLY START TIMES: If you would like an early start climb, please email karla.mccarraher@nmss.org. Please include “Early Start Time” in the subject line of your email. Early start times will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis. Note: if you request this option and you are climbing with a team, you will not have the same start time as your team members.

TEAMS: All teams will be assigned consecutive start times so that they can climb together.
